Obituary of Maria Rosario Graca

Maria Graca, 68, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on December 15, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Matawan.  She was born in Portugal, came to the United States in 1984, and lived in Kearny and Harrison before settling in Freehold Township in 2016.  Maria loved animals and spending time at the beach in the summer.  She enjoyed knitting and loved her grandchildren more than anything. 

Maria is survived by her husband of 32 years, Antonio Graca of Portugal; two daughters, Daniele Graca and Donny Figueira of Freehold Township, and Celia Antunes of Portugal; five grandchildren, Melanie, Vickey, Bruno, Nathan and Oliver; and one great grandchild, Diego. 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 PM.  Interment will be private.  Remembrances in Maria’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
