Obituary of Johanna B. Arancio

Johanna B. Arancio, 81, of Lakewood passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.  She was born in Dunmore, PA and had lived in Graniteville, Staten Island, NY before settling here in 2003. Prior to working as an office manager at her daughter’s medical practice in Montville, Johanna was an accounting clerk for Methods Research in Farmingdale.  She was a Camp Fire Girl Troop Leader, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.  A former active parishioner of Mt. Carmel Parish in Staten Island, her hobbies included putting puzzles together, completing crossword puzzles, and arts and crafts. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Arancio; daughter, Dr. Linda Arancio-Keating; three brothers; and four sisters.  Johanna is survived by daughter, Janis Swindlehurst and her husband, Warren of Howell; son, Robert Arancio and his wife, Gina of Warren; four grandchildren, Danielle Keegan, Kelly Keegan, Gabriella Arancio and Robert Arancio; and her sister, Dorothy Palumbo of Queens.
