Obituary of Yolanda Gabriel
Yolanda Todino-Gabriel, 80, of the Harbor Lights Club Waterfront Community, St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Howell, New Jersey before moving to Florida in 2000. Yolanda was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. A cross between Betty White and Joan Rivers, Yolanda was always the life of the party and put a smile on everyone’s face. To know her was to love her. She always had a funny story to tell. A larger than life personality, Yolanda left her mark on this world and in the hearts of those lucky enough to know her.
Yolanda is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Suzanne Gabriel; granddaughters, Erin Gabriel, Jennalee and her husband Joseph Faiella; great granddaughters, Jordyn Elizabeth and Lucia Rae. She is predeceased by her sister, Fanny Grosso and survived by her sister, Jennie Grosso. Survived by her many nieces and nephews, Yolanda had a unique and special bond with each and every one of them. She will always be loved and missed by all.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will be private.
