Obituary of Marion J. Hedner

Marion J. Hedner, 87, of Matawan passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Marion was born in Rahway, raised in Fords, and had lived in Woodbridge, Rahway and Jackson until moving to Matawan.  She was a 1948 graduate of Woodbridge High School and had worked as a clerk for Merck Pharmaceuticals.  Marion was former member of the Rahway Senior Center and AARP in Rahway.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley and a sister, Irma Jean Thergesen.  Marion is survived by her son, Scott Hedner of East Brunswick; two daughters, Nancy Mastrola and her husband, Perry of Howell and Janice Burke of Wood-Ridge; Daniel Hedner and his wife, Sara of Jacksonville, FL, Collin Hedner of Chincoteague, VA, Ashley Bullock and her husband, Ryan, Courtney Mastrola of Howell, Katrina Mastrola of Howell and Nicholas Mastrola of Howell; her great-grandson, Kaiden Hedner; nephews, Eric, Walter, Carl, and Glen Thergesen and their wives and families.
