Obituary of Melvin P. Davis

Melvin P. Davis, 90, of Millstone Township passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Red Bank, he lived in Englishtown before moving to Millstone Township in 1964. Melvin was a United States Army veteran having served during World War II. He enjoyed working on cars and was the service manager for Rayco Auto Stores, East Brunswick for many years. A family man, Melvin could be found working in his yard or teaching bible studies in the community.

He was predeceased by his wife, Corrine Davis in 2006; and daughters, Marilyn Fernanda Davis in 1977 and Tami Davis in 2017. Melvin is survived by six children, Paulette Davis of Millstone Township, Lorraine L. Lyman and her husband, Pasquale Bruno of Millstone Township, Melvino P. Davis and his wife, Toni of Allentown, Ricardo D. Davis of Atlantic Highlands, Kevin A. Davis and his wife, Danielle of FL, and Michael K. Davis of Millstone Township; and eleven grandchildren.
