Condolences
I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. Thank you for posting the wonderful family pictures, yours and mine. They bring back wonderful memories h
I had the pleasure of working alongside Bob as a Vice Principal and Principal at Monmouth's "sister campus" Ocean Campus over the past six years. We shared employees, students, committee memberships and co-hosted trainings. He was always supportive and a helpful ear and had a great respect for the position and the responsibilities that went along with it. He also had a caring relationship with his students and really wanted to see them succeed. He is already missed and will truly leave his imprint on the lives he touched. My condolences to his wife and family from the Ocean Campus students and staff as well as myself. May he rest in healthy peace.
I worked with Bob for 1 &1/2 years at Monmouth Campus. During that time, I saw true caring and compassion from him for all his students and babies. He made a point to be in the lobby every morning to greet each student as they came through the front door.
He was an educator first, and made sure each student had the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential. To him, the students weren't a "number". They were and are the future.
I consider myself privileged to have worked with him, and to have had the chance to learn from him.
To Nora, his daughters, and the rest of his family, my sincerest condolences to you all. He will be missed !!
Rest in Peace Mr. Leibowitz. You will always remain in our hearts.
I worked with Bob at Burlington. He was a kind considerate man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So Sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the family. I worked with Bob for about a month at the Burlington campus and within that month he brought so much laughter into the office. He surely will be missed!
Nora, Danielle, Beth and Heather. Please accept my condolences. I have so many great memories of him from high school and then again after we reconnected a few years ago. Such a good friend, we had so much fun together. The memorial pictures are beautiful.
You are in my thoughts and I pray that the memories you have of him will be a blessing and comfort to you.
So sorry for your loss. I lived a few houses away from Bob growing up. We went to school together. Gone to soon. May his memory be a blessing.
Sincerely,
Debbie Greenstein
I feel so fortunate to have met and worked with Bob, when visiting Monmouth TEACH School as a Nursery Consultant. He was always welcoming and supportive of my visits and suggestions regarding the nursery. I will miss him and will remember his caring and friendly manner. My sympathy to his family. Blessings to you all.
All of us who knew Bob at the NJDCF Office of Education are saddened by word of his passing. He was a dear friend who always showed his colleagues a great deal of support and kindness. He also always spoke of his wife and girls in the most glowing of terms! He was so proud of his family! He will be greatly missed! The needs of his students were always a priority to Bob!
