Obituary of Peter Whaley Lamb, Jr.
Peter Whaley Lamb, Jr., 57, of Howell passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018. He was born in Trenton and raised in Washington Crossing, PA. He was President of American Solutions for Business. Peter Loved sports, particularly basketball, golf and Eagles football. He was a coach to his children and, when not coaching, he was cheering them on from the sidelines. He was an avid scratch golfer, having won multiple tournaments and scoring two ‘hole in ones’. Peter was a wonderful father: dedicated, selfless and cherished. His family meant the world to him.
He was predeceased by his father, Peter Whaley Lamb, Sr. in 1997. Peter is survived by his wife of 27 wonderful years, Mary Sue Wines; his children, Christopher, Michael and Alexandra Lamb; mother, Madelyn (Silverson) Lamb; sister, Meg (Robert) Curry; favorite in-laws, Dick and Dot Wines; sisters-in- law, Ann Marie Phillips (Michael Kelly), Patricia (Neil) Habig, and Karen Wines; nieces, nephews: RJ(Angela), Maddy and Tim Curry, Morgan Phillips, Chase, Chandler and Cameron Habig; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and treasured friend. All will remember him as a generous and kind spirit who did not judge and accepted people for who they are.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will be private.
