Obituary of Gloria V. Merlino

Gloria V. Merlino, 91, of Howell passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Brandywine Living at Howell on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  Born in Jersey City and raised in Union City, Gloria lived in Hudson County most of her life prior to moving to Howell in 2007.  

Surviving are her daughter, Karen Gadaleta and her husband, Leonard of Farmingdale; son, Michael Merlino of Toms River; two cherished grandchildren, Lisa Bihuniak and her husband, John of Howell, and Robert Gadaleta and his wife, Brandi of Virginia Beach, VA; and three great grandchildren, Sebastian Bihuniak, Violet Bihuniak and Leonard James Gadaleta. 

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Brandywine Assisted Living and Dr. Gopal for the care and attention they devoted to Gloria while she lived there.  The family would also like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for their kind service during her final hours.
