Obituary of Phyllis A. Scarlini

Phyllis A. Scarlini, 91, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Mrs. Scarlini was born and raised in Brooklyn where she lived until settling in Freehold 50 years ago.  A very social woman, she had so many friends and was very involved in her community, Surrey Downs.  Phyllis loved to cook, especially her signature dish which was chicken soup.  She enjoyed playing cards, and taking trips to Atlantic City where she was a slot machine wizard.  Phyllis was nothing short of amazing, and always tried to make life as easy as possible for her family, as she loved them more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Scarlini in 1996.  She is survived by her son, Richard Scarlini and his wife, Trish of Chicago; daughter, Diane Losquadro and her husband, John of Ocean; and grandchildren, Jonathan Losquadro and his fiancee, Marissa Oakes of Ocean and Alyson Tierney and her husband, Danny of Ocean.
