Condolences
I had the honor and privilege of working with and for Donald in the mid-80's at Johnson and Johnson. I was in the software world for 35 years and Donald was the absolute best person I knew for all those years. Our friendship over that time has had and still has a major influence in my life.
Judy and I offer our deepest condolences to Pat, who I also knew and worked with during my J&J years.
RIP Donald! You will be missed.
My condolences to Don's family and friends. He was such a wonderful boss at Johnson and Johnson... I'm so saddened by his passing.
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE!
So very sorry to hear. My condolences to Pat and the family. Don was a gentleman and a very pleasant, fun loving person to be around. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,

Pat, my sincere condolences to you and your family. Donald was my first manager at J&J and I remember my first meeting with him as it was yesterday. Happy, upbeat, funny, and a loud happy laugh. His love for life and his happy attitude were contagious and it was clearly visible in every interaction I had with Donald. My prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time.
Pat,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have been keeping you and your family in my daily prayers. Don was a great guy and always very kind. May God's love comfort you during this most difficult time.
I will miss his smile and his laughter. He was one of the good guys to be sure. Again, my sympathies.
Dear Pat,
My thoughts have been with you since I heard of Donald’s sudden passing.
I first met Don when I started working at J&J in 1984. A few years later after I was transferred, he would occasionally stop by to check in on how I was doing. I have always appreciated that.
Don was a special soul who touched so many. No one knows that more than you.
My sincere condolences to you and your family,
Cathy

Donald was one of those rare individuals who would light up a room with his winning smile, great sense of humor, compassionate understanding and thoughtful comments. His leadership skills and and intellect enabled him to make great contributions to organizations and causes he supported. Donald will be sorely missed and we are better people to have known him.
Dearest Pat,
I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of Donald. I remember him so eager to climb and explore that next mountain with you by his side. I shall miss the travel blogs he posted after each of your many adventures. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs!
I always miss Donald - high spirited and happy, enjoying life to the fullest with Pat.
I can hear him now. When the girls gathered at his house to quilt (and we really just chatted), he'd walk in the room. put a hand to his ear and say 'I don't hear any sewing machines going'. Then we'd laugh. And whenever we spoke on the phone and I asked how he was, invariably the answer was 'Just Peachy Keen'. What a great guy. I'm privileged to have known him.
Pat,
I am so sorry to hear about Donald. I remember meeting and working with him, way back in 1982 when we were both at the plant. I also remember when he first chose me for a position working for him, and other times when I had that same opportunity. He was a person who I thought of as not only one of the best manager I have ever had here at J&J, but also truly a good friend. Whenever we would get together, it was always a great time, with him bringing that big smile, the warm hug, and of course all the stories he could tell. Oh and the jokes he could pull. I would always look forward to the story and adventures that he would send to us about your travels across the world, and the joy you can tell he got from sharing those adventures with his friends.
Pat, we will all miss Donald very much, but of course not as much as you will. Please reach out to me if there is anything we can do. I loved both of you. Our prayers are with you.
Mike
We are shocked and so sad. It's a great loss to anyone who knew Donald. Our deepest concern and sympathy goes out to you Pat. We hope to be at the service on Monday.

Dear Pat,
We are so shocked and saddened with the passing of Donald. Just the other day I thought I needed to touch base with him again to compare our illnesses. He was such a positive and up guy and loved life. His enthusiasm for RVing was contagious to others around him. He was the only one that could drive across the US in 3 days and then be ready to hike and bike and chat by the fire. And then make dinner for he and Pat.
Donald was such a wonderful husband who was so kind and loving to his wife Pat. He was so supportive of her quilting and other crafts. The two of them truly loved to RV together.
Pat, Donald will be missed, but never forgotten.
Love you so much, Carol and Bob Luse

Pat and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Don's passing. I admired Don both as a friend and a professional since I met him at J&J ESDP June 10 1985. He organized the "Attitude Re-Adjustment Meetings (aka Happy Hours) for all of us Info Tech nerds to let loose. Throughout the years he shared his adventures through out the USA and the globe with us in his well articulated narratives.
I will miss Don, as will you...but I will never forget him.
Peace and comfort for you during the next few days.
I plan on attending the service on Feb 19th.

Hi Pat, its Daphne. I just found out about Donald. I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My husband Max and I loved him and we still talk about one of Donalds tricks......
Donald would tell us how he would turn the heat up high at your home so it would compel you to come out of your clothes. My husband Max tries that on occasion, and we laugh about Donald!
Hoping this brings a smile to your face, and that God will ease the sorrow and replace it with joy of the great memories you guys shared.
All the best. If you need me, please let me know. Daphne
I am sending condolences for my husband, Julius Blackmon, and myself. Uncle Donald was a very intelligent, interesting, and loving man. He was a great guy. He will surely be missed by all of his family and friends. We love Aunt Pat. May Yahweh give you the strength you need in the days ahead. Love Janice.

We are sad and shocked by the passing of our great friend Donald. He was such a great friend and fun loving person to be around and will be dearly missed. There are too many fun stories of our working years and outside friendship to share in such a short message. Our hearts go out to his loving wife and also a great fiend of ours, Pat.
