Obituary of William Zacharyczuk
William Zacharyczuk, 80, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was born and raised in Bayonne and settled in Freehold Township in 1974. A graduate of the Bayonne High School Class of 1955, William continued his education at Pace University and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1959. He was a member of the St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Church and had served as their first altar boy. More recently, William was a member of St. Paul of the Apostle Orthodox Church. His hobbies included photography and model trains, and building model airplanes.
William is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Zacharyczuk of Freehold Township; sons, William Zacharyczuk, Jr. and his wife, Maria of Freehold Borough and Robert D. Zacharyczuk of King of Prussia; two sisters, Elsie A. McGill and her husband, James and Rose Marie “Rosie” Miller and her husband, Fred; and brother, John Zacharyczuk and his wife, Kathleen.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
