Obituary of Bernard F. Merlino
Bernard F. Merlino, 96, of Manalapan passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Greensburg, PA, he lived in New York City before settling to Manalapan in 2012. Bernard was a data processing manager at Alfred Kobler for 10 years. He enjoyed playing Bridge and was an accomplished clarinet and saxophone musician. A proud veteran, he served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Bernard was a true family man and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Merlino in 2006; and by all 8 of his brothers and sisters. Bernard is survived by his children, Janice Kline of Manhattan, and Chris Merlino and his wife, Raquel of Manalapan; granddaughter, Indira Myers of Westchester, NY; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Brigadier General William C.
