Obituary of Scott W. Rossin
Scott W. Rossin, 61, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born and raised in Long Island, and settled in Freehold in 1968 where he remained until the time of his passing. Prior to his retirement, Scott worked as a logistics manager for Schweitzers in Spotswood for 34 years. He enjoyed watching Batman and Gunsmoke, and was an avid Mets and Cowboys fan. Scott was the best man ever, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was always happy to help others, generous and loving to his friends and family. He was very social, loved to say hello to friends and strangers alike, and was a religious man.
Scott is survived by his wife of 37 years, Bernadine Rossin of Freehold Township; four children, Melissa Rossin of Potsville, PA, and Dakota Rossin, William Rossin and Joshua Rossin, all of Freehold Township; two granddaughters, Cassie and McKayla; his parents, Harmon and Eleanor Rossin of Freehold; sister, Amy Rossin of PA; favorite uncle, Nat Rossin of FL; sister-in-law, Marge Libonati and her husband, Julius of Jackson; brother-in-law, George Bogurski of Whiting; sister-in-law Noreen Boguski of Bricktown, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
