He was a graduate of Weequahic High School. Lou graduated from Newark State College and was a member of the Nu Sigma Phi Fraternity. He had lived in Springfield and moved to Israel to try his hand at farming. Lou returned to New Jersey, settling in Bradley Beach to raise his family. Lou was a Renaissance Man, not relying on others to figure it out for him. Walking hand-in-hand in life with his wife, Sherry, they raised three amazing children and were proud grandparents of seven adoring grandchildren.
