Condolences
We were so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. We knew him as a kind, gentle, honorable man. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Some people seem more worthy than others. Some stand taller in many different ways. Ken will be missed by all who knew him for his honesty, his willingness to look you in the eye, and most of all his smile.
Very sorry to hear about Ken's Passing. my most sincere condolences to Joyce and the entire Allen family. rest easy my friend!
Joyce,
I am so sorry to hear about Ken. I remember the times that we would get together in Bay Head. You have my deepest sympathy.
My deepest sympathies to Kens family. Over the past 15 years or so, I've had the distinct pleasure of working with Ken on several Military related refrigerated container projects. Ken was genuine, honest and an all around nice guy. I trusted his expertise and his opinions implicitly, which says a lot about his character. I also enjoyed talking hockey with him too. Ken will be missed.
Joyce, Jennifer and Brian and other family members,
It is with much sadness that I offer my condolences regarding the passing of Ken.
I will always remember the times I spent with the family at Lake Lackawanna and
Nags Head NC. Many hours were spent with Ken, Dick, Tommy, Merle and Ruth
and others for various holidays, birthdays and vacations. His parents were great
people who I enjoyed spending time with as Merle and I would kid each other
about being "apple knockers" from Port Gibson and Newark, NY. Many adventures
were had at Nags Head swimming, fishing, climbing the sand dunes etc. Joyce,
I want to thank you and Ken for the times you helped my sons, Jeffrey and Brett,
thru certain situations in their lives. I was not aware of Ken's struggle with fighting
off cancer! He will surely be missed by many of us who had the opportunity of
knowing him.

Dear Joyce and Jenn,
I was so incredibly saddened to hear about Ken’s passing. Although I have not spent much time with Ken in recent years, today I am reflecting on memories of him from many years past. I recall when you started dating this tall, handsome man when you were just a kid! I am thinking about your lovely wedding, a visit to your first home in Staten Island, the birth of Brian and then Jenn and days spent at “the lake”. It is hard to believe that over five decades have passed since I first met this wonderful, kind man and your life’s partner. I wish I could be there with you right now, my dear Friend. Dennis and I wish you and your Family peace today and in the days ahead. Love, Janet
Over the last twenty plus years I had the pleasure of working with Ken on various projects, and can honestly say enjoyed them all. Ken will be missed.
Our dearest Jen and Joyce,
"Blessed are those who mourn , for they will be comforted" - Matthew 5: 4
I have the privilege in knowing Kenny and your family through my husband Lee. I worry with you, smile with you, listened to Kenny's stories during our brief interactions. That's why learning that he's with the Lord now gave me a feeling of sadness and heavy heart.
Jen, Joyce and family, may you all find comfort to know that God cares about all of our challenges, and in every moment God can bring us hope and peace.
Our Condolences,
The Blanco Family

I'm very sorry for your loss I tried to make it out for the funeral but flights have been cancelled into Newark so I'm not going to be unable to attend
Joyce,
It's been so long, but looking at some of the pictures, it seems like yesterday.
All of my early memories are of "Joyce & Ken". You two were always the perfect "storybook couple", beautiful together.
May your family and memories sustain you, and your faith keep you strong.
Your loving cousin,
Shirley

Joyce,
I am so saddened to hear of Ken's passing. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to you and your family. I am so blessed to have known him. I will miss the long phone conversations I had with him over the years, along with his sense of humor and devotion to the men and women of the armed forces. I am proud to have called him not only a colleague, but also a friend. Although he is not here, I take comfort in the fact that we will be reunited with him through our shared faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and I look forward to that day.
With much love,
Melvin
