Obituary of Jose Panarra

Jose Ferreira Panarra, 71, of Howell passed away in suddenly in Portugal on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Jose was born and raised in Vila Boa Do Mondego, Provence Celerico da Beira, Portugal, had lived in Brazil, and came to the U.S. in 1961. He lived in Elizabeth before moving to Howell in 1978. Jose was a painter for General Motors, Linden for over twenty-five years retiring in 2000. He was predeceased by his wife, M. Eileen in 2008. He is survived by his son, Richard Panarra and his wife, Cindy of Jackson; a daughter, M. Theresa Panarra-Dadey and her husband, John Dadey III; five grandchildren, Jason, Dylan, Colin, Justin, and Taylor; a greatgrandson, Liam; two brothers, Jack Panarra of Elizabeth and Antonio Panarra of Elizabeth; a sister, Rita Panarra of Elizabeth; his in-laws, Carlos and Rose Lourenco of Roselle; sisters-in-law, Julietta Lourenco of Portugal, Karen Fonseco of Roselle, Eugenia Cordero of Farmingdale, Rose Lourenco of Red Bank, and Angel Pachana of Edison; a brother-in-law, Carlos Lourenco of Edison; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 8:15 AM for the procession to the Church of St. Veronica, 4219 Route 9 North, Howell for his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass.
