Obituary of Linda J. Brock

Linda J. Brock, 55, of Long Branch passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center.  She was born in Brooklyn, raised in Keansburg and had lived in Howell before settling in Long Branch in 1997.  Prior to her retirement in 2000, Linda worked as a secretary at the Monmouth County Court House in Freehold Township for 20 years.  She adored her cats, loved to knit and was big-hearted. 

Linda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Thomas Brock of Long Branch; son, Joseph Van Brackle of Browns Mills; grandson, Chase Van Brackle; siblings, Bobby of Tennessee, Stephen, Tommy , Sue  and John , all of FL; sisters-in-law, Joyce of Wayne, Debbie  and Patricia, both of Bayonne; brother-in-law, Frank of Hazlet; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 12:00 to 3:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to Susan G.
