Obituary of Catherine Ingargiola
Catherine “Kitty” Ingargiola, 82, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Kitty was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She raised her family in the Mountain Home section of the Pocono Mountains and moved to New Jersey in 2001 settling in Freehold Township. Prior to being a dedicated homemaker to her family, Kitty was an administrative assistant at Business Week Magazine in New York City. She had a lust for reading, a passion for art, and relished in her time crocheting. She enjoyed playing scrabble and word games, as well as solving crossword puzzles. Catherine loved being a mom to her children, a grandma and a g-ma.
Kitty was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ingargiola; and sons, Frankie and Ronnie Ingargiola. She is survived by her children, Vivian Guerrera of Levittown, NY, Steven Ingargiola of Freehold, Carl Ingargiola and his wife, Christine of Manalapan, and Katherine Marino and her husband, Charles of Plainview, Long Island; eleven grandchildren, Ricky, Vincent, Steven, Frank, Kaila, Carl and his wife, Ashley, Maria, Jonathan, Charles, Brandon, and Nicholas; four great grandchildren, Penelope, Hazel, Kaiden, and Michael; and a daughter-in-law, Kim Ingargiola.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro.
