Obituary of John Francis Fary
John Francis Fary, 84, of Farmingdale passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Neptune, he was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale. John was the original owner of The Race Place in Farmingdale. He was a past president of the Howell Lions Club, a coach for the North Howell Little League, and served as a sergeant in the 50th armored division in the New Jersey National Guard. He loved feeding his outside birds and squirrels. Above all, John will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, giving nature, and his unconditional love for his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Russell P. Fary Sr. in 1970 and Edna B. Parker Fary in 2003; his wife, Shirley L. Fary in 2004; his daughter, Pamela Fairmont in 2005; his brother, Russell Jr. in 1990, and his granddaughter, Jenna Fary in 2017. John is survived by his son, John G. Fary of Farmingdale; his beloved daughter, Kendall Malinowski and her husband, Norman of Millstone Township; and his loving grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Howell on May 5, 2018.
