Obituary of Robert Karl Schilling

Robert K. Schilling, 47, of Howell passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City. He was born in Neptune and raised in Howell.  Robert worked as a mover for Meelheims Transport in Toms River.  He loved to fish and watch football, especially rooting for the Washington Redskins.  Robert played T-ball for the Howell Little League when he was younger and always enjoyed sports.

Robert was predeceased by his grandparents, Sabina Schilling in 1972, Walter Schilling in 1976, Elizabeth Kambot in 2002, and Ismail Kambot in 1997.  He is survived by his parents, Pete and Yasmine Schilling of Howell; brother, Kenneth Schilling and his girlfriend, Carolyn Ganska of Delaware; and longtime friend, Judy Garcia of Toms River.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with a service to follow at 7:30 PM.  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Avenue, Jackson 08527.
