Obituary of Nannette Marano
Nannette Marano, 79, of Freehold Township passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, NJ. Nannette was born in Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in Valley Stream, NY and had lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn until moving to the New Springville section of Staten Island in 1968. Nannette then moved to Freehold Township in 2005. She was a homemaker and had a passion for crocheting. Nannette was a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township, NJ. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Nannette was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Marano; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Marano; sister, Agnes Gorton; and three brothers, Eugene, Joseph and Richard Beshears. She is survived by her son, Michael L. Marano, Sr. of Tannersville, PA; a daughter, Melissa Mistretta and her husband, Victor of Freehold Township; four grandchildren, Michael, Christine, Victoria, and Samantha; a sister, Elberta Culmone and her husband, Albert of Weeki Wachee, FL; brother-in-law, Roland Gorton of Brooklyn; and sisters-in-law, Helen Beshears of Brick, NJ and Ellen Beshears of Davenport, FL.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ.
