Condolences
i knew pete only as a kid in church - we were born the same year. but even then i knew him as a stand-up human being, a character of honesty and integrity. i'm sad - adding these notes in 2019 - that our paths drifted apart, and to learn that he passed away far too soon.
I was heart broken and shocked when I heard the news about Pete. Rose Marie, I am praying for you so your heart may someday heal, knowing that you had a beautiful love that most never experience. You are in my thoughts, as well as my family's.
Kelli
I was very saddened to hear about Pete — although I hadn’t seen him in very many years, I remember him so well as a very sweet boy growing up next door to my family and as a good friend to my little brothers. My heart goes out to all of you.
You will be missed by many as you have touched the lives of everyone you came in contact with . Thru out the years I spent numerous weekends with my boys and Pete and Peter all over in our travels with the boys racing motocross.
Pete had a direct effect on me in a positive way on how to be a better father with his always level headed thinking . He was the voice of reason and the guy I went to for advice when I wasn’t so sure . Pete taught me many good lessons and had me think of things in a different light and for that Big Pete I will always be greafull and never forget our times with our boys as well as the others and all the good times !!!
My deepest condolences to the Family
I am a lucky guy to have known Pete and to be able to say Pete Devlin was my friend !!!!!!!

Im very saddened to hear of Petes passing. Only doing work with him a few times, he was a good soul, and always had a smile to give away! My thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family. I hope that your wonderful memories of him will help fill the void.
We are very saddened by the passing of Peter. And while we only met him on the occasion of his quality work on our driveway here a couple of months ago, we we're truly moved by his strong and resilient spirit. I also felt such a bond and devoted connection between Peter and his son. I know how deeply Peter will be missed by all of you.

So very sorry Heather, Mary and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs!!!
I dated a friend of Pete's who lived with him on Trypak rd.
I spent a lot of happy times there with the boys.
Pete was a loving, caring giving man then .
We would run into each other now and then and he always had a hug and a smile for me. I'm glad to have had him in my life if only for a short while.
My heart breaks for his family. He was a great friend.
My condolences go out to the Devlin family & friends. Mr.Devlin you were instantly missed when I heard the news. Glad I got to see you at this past race of champions. Always a straight forward stand up guy ready to extend any sort of help or advice to anyone! Your greatly missed. Rest In Peace.
Over the past nine or ten years I have known Pete, he quickly became my best friend. Always there, no matter what to help me along and make life better. Just at the mention of a project, he would either jump on a machine and get it done, or surprise me by swiftly completing it when I wasn't around. He was the most generous man I have ever known. Not by handing out money, but he would give you his time and knowledge and a helping hand. He was always smiling, even when things were bad. He kept a great attitude in spite of the health issues he was fighting. He wouldn't even tell you when he wasn't feeling well. No matter what the situation was, having Pete there made it better. He was truly the greatest man I will ever know. I feel lost without him in my life, but I am truly grateful for the time he has been my friend.
For Rose, Peter and Alicia, I can't seem to come up with the words to say how sorry I feel for Pete's passing. I hope we can give each other the strength ans support to get through this and continue on the way Pete would have wanted.
Rest in peace Pete....

Rose Marie, Peter and Alicia, I am so sorry to hear of Pete’s passing. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, even though our gymnastics days were many years ago, I cherish the friendship that we shared. Love to you all. Lynn and Brianna
Pete will be missed dearly. I have learned a lot from him as a young adult and always thought of him as a role model in my professional and personal life. He was always there when you needed him and would sacrifice everything to help me and everyone else that he was close to. I will always remember the race track times and practice times together. Pete showed me how to operate a bulldozer and he had a lot of patience for my mistakes. I will will never forget his laugh and the way he would always stay positive even in the toughest situations. God rest his soul as his memories will last forever in my heart.
Sending our deepest sympathies to the entire Devlin family from the Serafin family.
Here are some of my (Ed's) fondest memories...riding mini-bikes, getting caught by my grandma smoking straws under the house (she whooped me, Eric AND Pete), getting to ride Pete's X-R-75, Pete just stopping by to see if we wanted to go four wheeling in his Ford pick-up, and years later, working for Devlin & Son up at Haagen Dazs...just a few great memories. Pete, I hope you know what a great role model you were to me, and I'm sure to many others from Ramtown. We all tried so hard to be "cool" back then but as I grew older, I realized that you were the "coolest of all" for all the reasons others have stated before me, and just by being Pete Devlin. I feel very blessed to have known you brother. I suspect heaven is about to become a whole lot more fun!
RIP Petey D.
Stew,
My sincerest sympathies to you and your family. May your brothers journey be a peaceful one .
Sincerely,
Artie Morello

My sincere condolences for Pete’s loss..
Pete and his company helped me with our renovation.
He was professional, personable, and quickly befriended me. Although he was a “hired contractor,” he quickly became a friend. Why? Because that was who he was, a good man, a professional, and yet, a ready friend.
He “lent me” (as in let me use) his motor-pool backhoe so I could continue to finish-up with landscaping & cleanup after his work on the foundation.
I recall inviting him to our open house once the renovation was done, because he was such a wonderful man whom I personally felt to be my friend.
I am personally devestated at his passing.
So very sorry for your loss. Remembering Pete as a young boy growing up next door in Ramtown. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
My heart aches for the entire Devlin Clan. Cannot reminisce about growing up on Roberta Drive without Pete being front and center in the story. A genuine good guy.
Bless his family, Shattered, loved him like a brother he taught me how to whistle with two fingers, amazing person beautiful person truly sad xxx
To The Devlin Family, Our heart goes out to all of you. You are all in our prayers, he was a wonderful man and will be truly missed. WITH OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY. John & Pat Rosa
