Obituary of Michael D. Caruso
Michael D. Caruso, 55, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Jersey City and settled in Freehold in 1996. Michael worked as an electrician for Local 3 and owned his own company, MNS Contracting. He was a hard worker, but always loved to have a good time. Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Freehold. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially around the holidays.
Michael is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michele Caruso of Freehold; children, Stephanie, Michael, and Nicholas Caruso of Freehold; his parents, Ronald Caruso of Lakewood and the late Mary Caruso; siblings, Chris Ann Powers of East Rutherford and Ronald Caruso of Toms River; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Eleanor Sheehy of Freehold; sister-in-law, Kathleen DeZerga of Freehold; brothers-in-law, Robert Sheehy of Connecticut and Michael Sheehy of Stillwater; and loving nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will be private.
