We are so sorry to hear about Ken's passing. He was a wonderful friend of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
It was an honor to know Kenny Finn. He put the “gentle” in the word “gentleman”.
Thoughts & many prayers are with your family.
I remember growing up going to the funeral homes old location down the street where my brother and I learned to ride our bikes and just play while our dad or uncle were doing work and Poppy would be there with us and kick a soccer ball around or throw a football and we loved every second of it. Then when I started working at the funeral home and spending more time with Poppy i loved and enjoyed every story, memory, and laugh we shared on the floor or at the lunch table. I will never forget those times and his infectious smile. Love you Poppy
We will always keep fond memories of Set Dancing with Ken and Philomena at Edgar's and Joanie's at Spring Lake. Now, they are together in heaven dancing the Connemara! Rest In Peace, Ken & Phil
My sincerest condolences to the Finn Family and all who had the privilege to know Ken. Words can hardly tell my sadness about Ken's passing. He was a tower of wisdom and strength, an inspiration to me and others. Feeling I was privileged to know such a great and humble guy. Ken, I will never forget you. Rest in Peace.
Our condolences to the Finn family, we only knew Ken for a short period of time but he was such a kind and caring person and we know he will be greatly missed and remembered with love and fondness
Dear Ken Thank you for all the fun & laughter we shared at Edgars (R&B) and for that one dance we did together WOW you sure could dance. Jack & I and all the gang at Edgars on Wednesday Night with Willy Lynch will miss you so much Rest in Peace my friend xoxoxo
I never got the chance to meet Mr. Finn, but his daughter Maureen is my very dear friend and longtime neighbor. I was enchanted by the stories she always told about the Finn clan. I made them part of my family (in my mind, by association), and I observe Maureen and her boys (now young men), closely to see what healthy family looks like. The words strength, dedication, honesty, devotion, and humbleness come to mind. It was and is still a blessing to witness what Kenneth and Philomena leave as their legacy.
So sorry to hear this very sad news. My condolences to Kenny, Kevin, Maureen and all the Finn’s. Many memories of Mr. Finn on the soccer field! You’re all in my heart and prayers.
It was my dad that met Mr. Finn first and helped to create Freehold Soccer Recreation. Although my dad played in high school, he was in awe of Mr Finn's talent, experience and accomplishments in the sport. Soon, my sister, brother and myself found ourselves playing on soccer teams with a Finn. A long history of friendship, commarade and team spirit was in the making. It all started with Mr Finn.
He was a wonderful man and will be missed by many, many people.
We are so sorry for your loss. He was a blessing to all in our parish and he’ll be greatly missed.
May He Rest In Peace. Our prayers are with the family.
I’m heartbroken at the passing of my godfather. Ken came from an Irish-American generation that, through hard work, faith in themselves, and a sense of community, contributed so much to both countries. I’m so glad to have seen him back in Dundalk the night we won the League. My heartfelt condolences go to all his family who know how much I love them. RIP Ken Finn
We are so sorry for your loss. We are thinking of you. Thoughts and prayers.
Ken, you were a loving & caring man, who deeply loved his family, his extended family at C & McG and the many friends you made. You enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed our conversations about each other’s life’s experiences. I was blessed to call you a friend & co-worker. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual life shine on you. AMEN!
