Obituary of Josephine Pipeling
Josephine "Jo" Pipeling, 82, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Meridian Sub-Acute Rehab, Wall Township. She was born in Garfield and lived in Passaic, Clifton and Lodi moving to Freehold Township in 1958. She has been a Jackson Township resident for the past two years. Jo and her husband owned and operated Freehold Washer & Dryer Service from 1960 to 1990. She was also a Principal Account Clerk for the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office for 18 years before retiring in 1998. Jo enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing the slots in AC and dominating in Scrabble. She loved to reminisce and share her memories and will be missed.
Jo was predeceased by her husband, Warren A. Pipeling, Sr. in 1999; her brother. Thomas, and her parents, Donato and Carmela DeCillis. She is survived by one daughter, Laura J. Beith and her husband, Keith of Howell; a son, Warren A. Pipeling, Jr. of Jackson; five grandchildren, Michelle Rubin, Shannon Beith, Lindsey Beith; Craig Pipeling and Carly Pipeling; a great grandson, Devon Rubin; her sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Emil Nargi, San Diego, CA; and three sisters-in-law, Betty Mego and her husband, John of Red Bank; Charlotte Pipeling of NJ and Marge Pipeling of CT.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM with a memorial service to follow at 5:30 PM, Rev. Wm. Frederickson officiating. A committal service will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 12:30 PM at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veteran's Cemetery Chapel, Arneytown.
