Obituary of Frank Pondaco
Frank Pondaco, 56, of Howell passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 22,2018. He was born in Plainfield and raised in Piscataway before settling in Howell in 1979. He was a self-employed construction worker for over 30 years. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Frank was a car enthusiast, an avid reader and enjoyed music from the 70s.
He was predeceased by his parents, Philip Pondaco, Sr. in 2017 and Concetta Pondaco in 2018. Frank is survived by his wife, Alison Manzi of Howell; two children, Frankee Pondaco and Nicole Pondaco of Howell; and two brothers, Dominick Pondaco and Philip Pondaco, Jr. of Howell; and his faithful canine companion, Titan.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM for the procession to his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Neptune. In memory of Frank, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
