Obituary of Carolyn Ann Stark
Carolyn Ann Stark, 77, of Morganville passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, September 3, 2018 at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. She was born in New Brunswick, raised in East Brunswick, and had lived in North Brunswick, Old Bridge, and Monroe Township before settling in Morganville in 1972. Carol worked as a school bus driver for Marlboro Township Board of Education for almost 10 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a charter member of the Monroe First Aid Squad, a life member of the Morganville First Aid Squad, and belonged to the Robertsville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. An adventurous woman, Carol survived raising four boys and even went skydiving at the age of 72. She loved reading, polka and country line dancing, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren. Carol especially enjoyed riding the rollercoasters at Great Adventure and going to country concerts with them.
Carol was predeceased by her husband, John H. Stark, Jr. in 2012. She is survived by her children, John H. Stark, III and his wife, Margaret of Lakewood, Craig Stark and his wife, Connie of Lakewood, Scott Stark and his wife, Janet of Hazlet, and Todd Stark and his wife, Sharon of Jackson; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 4:30 PM.
