Obituary of Marie Palmieri
Marie Palmieri, 93, of Jackson passed away at home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was born in Staten Island and had lived in Freehold Township until moving to Jackson 6 years ago. Marie was a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine and the Freehold Senior Center. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Bingo.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Palmieri in 2008. She is survived by her son, Charles Palmieri and his wife, Barbara of Jackson and daughter, Kathy Cea of Freehold Township; three grandchildren, Megan Brand and her husband, Sean, David Cea and his wife, Jennifer, and Andrew Palmieri and his wife, Elaini; six great grandchildren, Sean, Jr., Anthony, Olivia, Gianna, Luciano and Mackenzie; and sisters, Margaret Tedesco of Georgia and Antoinette Matoske of Staten Island.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
