Obituary of Harold Schoeneick

Harold Schoeneick, 87, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Harold was born in Newark, raised in Irvington, and had lived in Union and Linden before settling in Jackson in 1993. He was a proud Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War.   Harold owned his own cleaning service business that operated out of Jackson. He enjoyed watching the Giants, coloring, gardening and reading the newspaper.  In his spare time, he could be found working on his car or tinkering around.  Harold’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, June Schoeneick of Jackson; daughters, Donna Klein and her husband, Michael of Brick and Debra Reynolds and her husband, William of Howell; five grandchildren, Kristin Meroni and her husband, Joseph, Ericka McCurnin and her husband, Kenneth, Matthew Klein, Kimberley Estremera and her husband, Julian, and Samantha Reynolds; and three great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson and Cooper. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM funeral service on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General Wm.
