Obituary of Frances Esther Reich
Frances Esther Reich, 97, of Freehold Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at home. She was born in New York City and had lived in Newark and Clark before moving to Freehold in 2004. Frances was a customer service representative for Pharmacaps in Elizabeth for 35 years until her retirement in 1998. She was a former member and part of the Sisterhood at both Temple B’Nai Abraham in Livingston (formerly Newark) and Temple Beth O’r Beth Torah in Clark. Frances’ faith encouraged her passion for giving with the many years of volunteerism that she devoted to the Ruth Estrin Goldberg Memorial for Cancer Research. She was a loving mother, adoring grandmother, and proud great grandmother.
Frances was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Albert Bernard Reich; a brother, Kalman Lurinsky; and a sister, Gertrude Silverman. She is survived by her four children, Richard Reich and his wife, Carolyn of Naples, FL, Ilene Weiner and her husband, Donald of Matthews, NC, Barry Reich and his wife, Laura of Matthews, NC, Anita Reich and her husband, Ronald Borner of New Port Richey, FL; five grandchildren; Benjamin Reich and his wife, Jaclyn of Brooklyn, NY, Cara Boskoff and her husband, Jesse of Austin, TX, Rachel Reich of Jackson Hole, WY, Daniel Reich and his wife, Stefanie Salt Lake City, UT and Erica Weiner of Raleigh, NC; two great grandchildren, Elaine Reich and Elana Weiner; and her nieces and nephews, Sharon Leiberman and her husband, Steve of Toms River, NJ, Marc Wasserman and his wife, JoAnn of Englewood, FL, Barbara Denner of New York City, NY and Mark Lurinsky and his wife, Florence of Montclair, NJ and all of their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 1:00 PM Funeral Service at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Interment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ. Shiva will be observed on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at Applewood Estates, 1 Applewood Drive, Freehold Township, NJ 07728.
