Obituary of Philip R. Pussilano
Philip R. Pussilano, 71, of Howell passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at home. He was born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx. Philip had lived in Sloatsburg, NY before settling in Howell in 1987. He worked as an equipment operator for Con Edison in Manhattan. Along with his community of brothers and sisters, Philip served at Immanuel Bible Church in Howell. He was a baseball fan and loved the Atlanta Braves. Philip was a simple man. He always worked hard and above all else, loved his family.
Philip is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Pussilano of Freehold; sons, Philip A. Pussilano and his wife, Anna of San Diego and Ralph P. Shade of Manalapan; grandchildren, Philip Robert Pussilano and Vasili Douvos; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Immanuel Bible Church, 1244 West Farms Road, Howell. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
