Obituary of Vincent Marrapodi
Vincent Marrapodi, 82, of Freehold Township passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Florida during the winter months after his retirement. Along with his wife, Vincent settled in Freehold in 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. Vincent worked as a pattern maker for Leslie Fay in Manhattan, retiring in 2001.
Vincent is survived by his wife of 59 years, Adriana Marrapodi of Freehold; children, Fred Marrapodi and his wife, Mariastella of Freehold and Marika Testa and her husband, Joseph of Freehold; six grandchildren, Natasha Perlongo and her husband, Peter, Christopher Marrapodi, Vincent Marrapodi, Alexandra Testa, Joseph Testa, and Sarahelena Marrapodi; sisters, Elizabeth Lauro of NY and Annemarie Ceccolli of PA; brother, Pat Marrapodi of PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
