Obituary of Frank S. Moran Jr.

Dr. Frank S. Moran, Jr., of Freehold Township entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2019 at the age of 92. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on December 5, 1926, Frank was raised in West Orange, NJ. He graduated from Seton Hall Prep and then continued his education at Georgetown University and Georgetown Dental School.

Frank was predeceased by his second wife, Yvonne Gauthier-Moran; father, Dr. Frank S. Moran; mother, Gerarda Towle-Moran; sister, Sally Moran Penkethman; and his stepson, Donald Doty.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan, Kate, and Kelly; brothers, Dr. Michael Moran and his wife, Rosemary, and Gerry Moran and his wife, Kathy; and stepson, Paul Doty.

Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Philippines and Japan as Corporal. He had his own dental practice in Fair Haven, NJ for over 40 years. Later, he became a Methodist minister in Springfield, MO for 14 years before moving back to New Jersey in 2013. In Franks spare time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his dogs.
