Obituary of Domenico Bellia
Domenico “Mimmo” Bellia passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Centre State Medical Center of Freehold New Jersey. Domenico was a resident of Freehold Township N.J. and a native of his beloved Ribera, Italy, the town which held many long-lasting childhood memories he often shared with his children. He immigrated to the United States in 1967 settling in Union County N.J. where he continued to develop the family shoe business of three generations. His greatest passion was spending time with his close-knit family and loved weekly get togethers with family and friends who often enjoyed his classic sense of humor. Domenico loved gardening, listening to the songs of his native Italy, and dancing.
Domenico was predeceased by his wife, Gaetana Bellia in 2015. He is survived by his three loving children, Albina and Diane Bellia of Freehold Township N.J. and Sal Bellia of Monmouth Beach, N.J. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Michelle and her fiancé Christopher, Dominic and Giselle.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road, (Route 524), Freehold Township, N.J. on Monday January 28, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M A graveside service will take place at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
