Obituary of Mary Iannuzzelli

Mary “Cookie” Iannuzzelli, 80, of Freehold Township passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 20, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Mary was born and raised in Nutley, moved to Belleville in 1976, and eventually settled in Freehold Township two years ago.  She loved spending time with her family, shopping, ordering take-out and a good rum and coke during family gatherings.  Mary was also an Elvis Presley fan.  

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph N. Iannuzzelli in 2017.  Mary is survived by her sons, Joseph Iannuzzelli and his wife, Tabitha of Bridgewater, Vito Iannuzzelli and his wife, Maria of Freehold Township, and Charles Iannuzzelli and his wife, Andrea of Medford; eight grandchildren, Brielle, Vito, Matthew, Stephanie, Nicholas, Christian, Joseph and Arianna; and her sister, Gloria Hague of Toms River. 

 Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the funeral home for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.  Interment will follow in Brigadier General Wm.
