Obituary of Andrea DeTullio

Andrea DeTullio, 95, of Howell, passed away peacefully at Monmouth Crossing on Saturday, February 23, 2019.  Born in Molfetta, Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1948 and lived in Cliffside Park until taking up residence in Howell in 1995.  Andrea was a machinist for Lowes Paper Company in Ridgefield for over 30 years.  He was a former parishioner of the Church of the Epiphany in Cliffside Park and a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena, Farmingdale.  Andrea enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, cooking and gardening.  He was skilled at a wide range of repairs, a handyman who could handle any type of odd job. 

Andrea was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Marie DeTullio in 2016; one brother; and three sisters.  He is survived by three sons, Dr. John DeTullio and his wife, Jane of Clarksburg, Andrew DeTullio and his wife, Kathy of Watchung, and Joseph DeTullio and his wife, Beth of Mount Pleasant, SC; five grandchildren, Michael DeTullio and his partner, Kristin Stine of Oakhurst, Alix DeTullio, APN and her husband, Matt Rosenbloom of Oceanport, Mark DeTullio of Watchung, Kyle DeTullio and his fiancée, Chelsea of Manhattan and Keri Royal and her husband, Matt, of Greensboro, NC; and four great grandchildren, Gennaro DeTullio, Lily DeTullio, Eva Rosenbloom and Zoey DeTullio. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 8:00 AM for the procession to his 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, One North Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ 07727.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Andrea’s name may be made to CentraState Healthcare Foundation, 225 Willowbrook Road, Suite 5, Freehold, NJ 07728 designated for Monmouth Crossing.
