Obituary of Walter Karczewski

Walter Karczewski, 77 of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born in Jersey City, raised in Bayonne, and lived in Jersey City, Kearney and Sayreville before settling in Freehold Township in 2011.  He was the owner of Freeman’s Bakery in Cliffwood for six years.  Walter enjoyed being home, but could be found in the Atlantic City casinos.  He enjoyed tinkering on the computer, and more than anything he treasured his grandchildren. 

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Noreen Karczewski of Freehold Township; daughter, Donna Dias and her husband, Fred; son, Walter Karczewski and his wife, Anabel of Manalapan; two grandchildren, Ethan and Olivia; and his grandpup, Dallas.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.  Interment will be private.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
