Obituary of Sheila A. Hayden

Sheila A. Hayden, 73, of Farmingdale passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Sheila was born in Long Branch, raised in Matawan and had lived in Port Monmouth before settling in Farmingdale.  She was an Instructional Assistant at CPC Behavioral Health Care, Morganville for over thirty years retiring in 2016. 

Sheila was devoted to her family, friends and pets. She had a remarkable talent for understanding people’s needs and a gift for sharing her love and kindness with anyone and everyone she encountered. Sheila was a grower of plants, people and dreams.  She loved going on adventures and soaking up the beauty nature provided.  She treasured birds, flowers, cats, and especially, her family. 

Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Charles E. and Jewell Hauser.   She is survived by her children, Regina Brunetti-Carroll and her wife, Theresa Brunetti-Carroll of Ewing Twp., Salvatore A. Brunetti and his Fiancée, Laura Blasucci of Wall, Thomas Hayden and his fiancée, Tara Kyles of Freehold, and Jenny Lynn Hayden of Arcata, California; two precious grandchildren, Lia and Victoria; four loving sisters, Margaret Kane of Wisconsin, Patricia Shea of Indiana, Nettie Whetzel of Wisconsin, and Norah Orchard  of Texas;  and best friend, Mary Lynn Tice of Farmingdale; her feline companions, Cherry, Gray Girl, and Ginger;  many beloved nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews.
