Obituary of Frank S. Curatolo
Frank S. Curatolo, 86, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at home. He was born in Sicily, Italy. Frank moved to Brooklyn at the age of 2 and settled in Freehold in 1988. He worked as a pattern maker for Norton Mcnaughton in Manhattan, retiring in 1998. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served during the Korean War. He was a fan of the New York Mets and loved American cars. Frank enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and most importantly, spending time with his family who he loved dearly.
Frank was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Catherine Curatolo; and daughter, Soprana Coppola. He is survived by his children, Angela DiFranco and her husband, Mario of Freehold and Anthony Curatolo and his wife, Lillian of Galloway Township; grandchildren, Andrew and his wife, Angela, Joann and her husband, Pat, Frank and his fiancé, Samantha, Anthony, Frankie, Christopher, and Frankie; and great grandchildren, Lucas and Emma.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
