Obituary of Marie Antonietta Carrino
Marie Antonietta Carrino, 88, of Manalapan passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Pemberton Township. She was born in Brooklyn, raised and Lyndhurst, and settled in Manalapan 9 years ago. Marie liked to bake cookies and cook lasagna, but her big dream was to become a ballroom dancer. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and most importantly the company of her grandchildren.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Carrino; daughter, Janine Carrino; sisters, Joan Tietjen and Ida Cammarta; and son-in-law, Dr. Louis Talarico. She is survived by her children, Lynda Talarico of Freehold Township, Roxane Behrsin and her husband, Michael of Highlands, and Christine Cattafi and her husband, Dr. Richard Cattafi of Lavalette; and four granddaughters, Lauren, Kristin, Carlie, and Cara.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s name to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
