Obituary of Anthony Olmo
ANTHONY OLMO, 69, of TOMS RIVER, died Thursday, Nov. 8, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mr. Olmo was born in New York City and had lived in Bergen County until moving to Toms River in 1996. Mr. Olmo was a supervisor for General Foods, Maxwell House Division, Hoboken for over 25 years, retiring in 1995. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife 50 years, Beverly Olmo of Toms River; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Renee Olmo of Chesapeake, Va., and Stephen and Sherry Olmo of Freehold; six grandchildren; two brothers, Vincent Olmo of Freehold, and George Olmo of Cloister; and four sisters, Theresa Delorme of Harrington Park, Anna Frato of Cliffside Park, Connie Scalice of North Bergen, and Vickie Bonadio of Cliffside Park.
Visiting hours will be at from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday until his funeral service at 5:30 p.m. at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Anthony may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of N.J., 1034 Salem Road, Union, New Jersey 07083-7058.
