Joseph Lowell Schnitzer, 72, of Howell passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on November 10, 1946. Joseph was raised in Jersey City and was a graduate of Dickinson High School class of ‘64. Joseph attended Pace University and Jersey City University. He was an honorably discharged Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Army from 1966-1969. Joseph was the proprietor of Lowell Construction for over 40 years. Joseph was a master of all trades in the Monmouth County area until his retirement in 2008. Joseph’s vast interests included fishing, camping, home improvements, automotive maintenance, trips to Atlantic City and helping neighbors.
He is predeceased by his parents, Dr. Henry M. Schnitzer and Elnor R. Kobold-Schnitzer. Joseph was survived by his two daughters, Marguerite and Florence; Son, Jamison Johnson; granddaughter, Kaylee, grandsons; Brandon, Brennan, Gavin and Sawyer.
