Our prayers are with you and your family
I am so sorry to be reading this. I met Kathy when she was teaching at Ravine Drive. I worked in the office. Kathy's main concern was her students. She loved her students and they loved her. When I retired in 2009 Kathy helped with the celebration by printing a program. This is forever treasured. Well Kathy Rest in Peace my friend. Pat Davis
I met Kathy close to 4 decades ago when we team taught in the Union School System. She was young, vibrant and beautiful. We immediately made a connection. Kathy referred to me as her older wiser sister
She had many creative ideas and talents.
Jim's name would be in every sentence she said. I never knew a person that had so much love for everyone, especially her husband, children and all her special students.
The happy times we had together will be a source of comfort to me.

Our prayers & condolences for you all. See how tenuous life is & how fragile our psyches are? Our hidden selves sometimes shout louder than our voices. We all could use better education in learning to listen.
May Kate Rest In Peace knowing she left us with a lesson (albeit, untimely).✌️
My sincerest sympathies to you Mary, Brandon, Faith and the rest of your family on the loss of your sister, aunt, wife and mom. I know she will always hold a special place in your hearts. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I loved working with Kate for a short time and enjoyed the creativity we shared together at RD. I’m so glad I have the photos of the both of us together smiling and touching children’s lives together. My prayers and thoughts are with the family for strength during this time. She will always be remembered by me.
I grew up on the same street as Kathy, Davos Rd was one big family. All the good memories our childhood holds. Kathy was always laughing and making us all laugh with her.
Praying for the family , Rest in Peace Kathy
I only worked with Kate for a short time and will always remember her kindness; it always showed. Prayers for comfort and peace in the difficult time ahead.
Fondly remembering Kate,
Ann Marsh (MAMS)
My heart is broken... I worked with Kate at FTHS — she was a gift... to her students, her colleagues and administration. The impact she made on the lives of “our kids and adults” was immeasurable. I am saddened to hear she was struggling because all I remember was a woman who was an angel on this earth...and now, I hope she is resting easy-- out of her pain, and will now be our angel in heaven. My heart aches for her dear family, friends and all of those that crossed her path. May the sweet and happy memories bring you all peace. With sincere condolences, love and prayers.
Praying for your entire family. May our Lord Jesus Christ be with you in this season of grief.
My sincere condolences to your family. My son was in Kate’s enrichment class the last 2 semesters. He was actually awarded the scholarship from her brother’s foundation for his paper on Segregation. I don’t know how I’m going to give him this terribly sad news. She accepted our son with such sincerity, something that is not a given in our world. He learned so much from Kate and is going to be so disappointed he will not see her this next semester. I’m so sorry for your loss of such a great person. Jeannie and Frank Hines
Kate was the nicest person i meet and she was a good teacher and i will miss her a lot
My condolences to you and the Redzinak Family. I was former student of hers and remember the memories of her 4th grade class.
I don't remember much about elementary school, but one thing I'll never forget is hoping Mrs. Redzinak was our substitute teacher when the teacher was out.
You will always and forever be my hero, Kate. You give us the best Brittany, who I making the world better, because of you❤️ You will live forever in my heart, memories and my daughter. May you rest in the peace you gifted to me, Brittany and our family. Devastated is an understatement.
