Obituary of Kamal Singh

Kamal Singh, 65, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born in Guyana and migrated to the United States, living in Jersey City before settling in Jackson in 2004.  Kamal worked as an electronic technician for the United States Postal Service in Trenton from 1986 to 2017.  He had a passion for traveling and was always looking forward to his next trip.  Kamal was a man of few words but was witty and smart. He enjoyed spending time on the water, especially boating and jet skiing.  Kamal loved life and all the challenges that came along with it. He was a true fighter and never wanted to let go.

Kamal was predeceased by his parents, Oree and Itwaria Singh.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Seeta Singh of Jackson and three sons, Shawn, Ryan, and Timothy Singh of Jackson. 

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the funeral home.  Cremation will take place in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
