Obituary of Anthony P. LiPuma
Anthony P. LiPuma, 71, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 after a long battle with diabetes, kidney disease and other debilitating ailments. Tony was born on October 15, 1947 in Brooklyn to Marie and Dominick, and he remained there for 30 years. Shortly after his marriage to Victoria (nee Russo), they moved to the Eltingville section of Staten Island. It was here they called home for 33 years and raised two loving daughters. Tony worked as a bakery manager for Pathmark and later as senior cook at Susan E. Wagner High School. In his spare time when he was well, he enjoyed shopping, cooking, stamp and coin collecting, attending Broadway plays and trips to Atlantic City. Tony loved to travel, especially cruises to the Caribbean and Bermuda. His generosity showed no bounds toward family and friends.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who leaves behind a legacy of beautiful memories shared with his beloved family. Tony loved family vacations, family dinners - both at home and in restaurants – and family holidays. He enjoyed watching the cooking channels and talking about his favorite recipes.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Vicki LiPuma; daughter, Andrea Ranauro and her husband, Joseph, and Valerie DeRenzo and her husband, Mark, all of Marlboro; five adored grandchildren, Sal, Crista, Vincent, Leo and Demiana; and two brothers, Dominick LiPuma of Brooklyn and Peter LiPuma of Jackson.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
