Obituary of Gloria I. Kropa
Gloria I. Kropa, 91, of Jackson passed away at Bella Terra Assisted Living on Monday, July 22, 2019. She was born and raised in Scranton, PA, the last surviving child in a family of twelve, and settled in Freehold Township where she raised her family. She was known to many as she was the first teacher at Hope Christian School and a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Edward Kropa in 2014. She is survived by her sons, Pastor Edward Kropa and his wife, Jeanette, and David Kropa and his wife, Laura, all of Freehold Township; six grandchildren, Kristyn, Stephen, Sarah, John, Kaitlin and Daniel; and one great grandson, Liam.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with her memorial service to follow at 3:00PM. All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria’s name may be made to Hope Christian School, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township.
