Condolences
LoPresti Family News of Tommy's death hit me like a ton of bricks. He was such a great guy, talented journalist. He made me look good on more than one occasion. Even more important than that, he taught me how to be a good reporter by watching him make lemonade out of my lemons. Gone too soon. Rest in peace Tommy
I was both shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Tommy's death. He will be long remembered and sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences at this most difficult of times.
Nearly 30 years ago I watched as Tommy held our daughter for the first time. She was minutes old and his spitting image. Father and daughter instantly bonded and shared a love and adoration beyond compare. The very best of Tommy lives on in Jacquelyn, the light of his life.
The first time I met Tommy was in my cousin's back yard in Staten Island. He was an exerburant chid at the age of ten. Tommy emulated my cousin Alex, and was very egar to become a musican. As the years progress I was lucky enough to see him develop into a loving, kind, and nuturing father and husband.I was devistated to learn of his passing. God has had an angel enter his kindom with the passing of such a kind and generous soul. I will always love and remember you. Nora Petrello

To Tommy's loved ones: What an irrepresible presence Tommy was to those of us who knew him at WCBS. I remember how madly in love he was with Jacque from her first minute -- proudly showing pictures of her early life to everybody, all the time. What a wondeful legacy he leaves. What a love of life that can never be extinguished. Megan Marshack
