Obituary of William M. Saulino

William M. Saulino, 66, of Howell Township passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2019 at home.  Bill was born and raised in Jersey City.  He had lived in Lincroft, Brick, Tinton Falls, and Spring Lake Heights before moving to Howell.  Bill retired in 2012 after 42 years of dedicated service at the United States Postal Service in Eatontown.  He was a connoisseur of Italian food, rooted for the NY Yankees, and enjoyed taking a drive (always doing the speed limit).  Spending time on the beach in Port Orange, Florida was his favorite way to spend a day. 

Bill was predeceased by his beloved dachshund, Heidi.  He is survived by his adoring wife of 11 years, Melissa; three stepchildren, Rocco Denney of Howell, Gabrielle Denney of Howell, and Jillian Denney of Calabash, NC; his canine companion, Nina; siblings, Phyliss Skwiat and her husband, Joe of Easton, PA, Donna Knauer of Delaware, and Steven Saulino of Jersey City; two nieces; and two nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with his memorial service to follow.  Inurnment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in William’s name may be made to the American Bladder Cancer Society, 12 Flansburg Avenue, Dalton, MA 01226.
