Remembering Rejene today. I finally found these photos of when we reconnected at the Gay Life Expo in 2006 (?). She spotted me in the crowd and waved me over into the backstage area. I thought she must've been mistaken me for someone else. She says, "Do you know who I am?" I said in a sassy voice: "No, do you know who I AM?". She said, "Yes, you're Angelo". I gagged!!! Only my mother called me Angelo, and Rejene knew that because we lived on the same block growing up. It was great to see her happy and living her best life up there on stage. Rest in Peace, my friend. xo
