Obituary of James L. Grabowski

James L. Grabowski, 71, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and had lived in Manhattan before settling in Howell in 1985.  James worked for NBC for 20 years before becoming a project manager for The Thomas Group in Princeton.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  James was a kind hearted man, cared deeply for his family, and loved animals and nature. He was a true Mr. Fix It, and took great pride in his home and working on his cars. 

James was predeceased by his father, Melvin Grabowski in 1996 and mother, Lena Grabowski in 1997.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol Morreale of Mississippi; children, Justin Grabowski of Jackson, Meagan Grabowski of Howell, and Shannon Grabowski of Howell; and grandson, Evan Urban.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.  Interment will be private.
